STEM4US!, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to excite young people and adults about healthcare, technology, manufacturing and other STEM fields to help create 1 million + new STEM professionals by 2022. STEM4US! advocates to increase the diversity of the technology sector as a means to take a significant step in addressing biases.
Dr. Turner-Lee is the Vice President & Chief Research and Policy Officer for the Minority Media and Telecom Council (MMTC). She most recently served as President and CEO of the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), a professional association that educates, advocates, and empowers for multi-ethnic diversity in the cable communications industry. Previously, Dr. Turner-Lee served as Vice President and the first Director of the Media and Technology Institute for the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. Dr. Turner-Lee has been recognized for her exemplary leadership in the media and communications industry.
Talib I. Karim is responsible for managing a team committed to achieving the mission of expanding the nation’s ranks of STEM professionals by 1 million by 2022. Talib also leads a technology law firm and a government relations and technology solutions consulting firm.
