Forgot to post yesterday once again, argh. Stenowatt for @chibipika for Art Fight!
I’ve been thinking about modeling Stenowatt so I made a ref sheet! Finally nailed down how to draw the wings too (they’re like Zekrom, where the claws are only visible from the underside.)
It flaps its wings to generate electricity, which it stores in its tail. It channels the stored energy into its legs to run faster.
Stenowatt is super cute. I like to think that its tail stripes glow and possibly move, although its sprite is animated and the stripes don’t do anything special. I like that the Pokedex entry refers to those little arms as wings. Imagine Stenowatt flapping those. Like a wiggly noodle!
Decided to do a more chill, out-of-battle idle animation, like the ones you'd see in something like Pokemon Camp.
Finished modeling Stenowatt! Gonna start on some Sun/Moon-style animations soon.
Showcasing a custom piece I made of my roommate’s fakemon, Stenowatt! The received a pixel art of Stenowatt as part of an art trade several months back, so I decided to make it into a needlepoint craft as a gift!
For those of you playing Pokemon Uranium, you may recognize this Pokemon. :P
Credit to @dinofloof for creating Stenowatt, and @oripoke for creating the pixel art (as well as Pokemon Uranium)
My electric-type troodon fakemon, Stenowatt!
