Boleh dibilang, Steny adalah pribadi yang tidak suka membelanjakan uangnya hanya untuk hal yang tidak perlu. Terbukti, di saat ia belum mengenal berbagai jenis instrumen investasi keuangan pun, ia telah mampu menabung secara disiplin, dan baru membelanjakan uangnya secara bijak, misalnya dengan membeli rumah yang menjadi salah satu investasinya hingga kini. “Saya tidak suka spending untuk hal yang tidak perlu, misalnya membeli mobil mewah keluaran terbaru hanya untuk kesenangan. Buat saya yang mahal itu adalah ilmu menata keuangan itu sendiri. Kalau uangnya sih dua menit juga bisa hilang. Menurut saya, uang itu seharusnya tidak membuat kita pusing, tapi justru membantu kita dan memberi kita penghasilan,” ungkapnya.
