Oh man I keep watching and seeing a younger Tien. like seriously they look almost identical. Anyway this was a sweet love story, not too fond of the step-brothers fall in love troupe but Tan and Vu deserve happiness. Now I really want the second season of Sea Him, that or I’m just going to watch Tien Bromance for like the 1000xth time.

Heyyo! This is my LoZ AU >:0!!! Link and Ganondorf are step-brothers!

I don’t want to make this post longer, so if you want more details you can read more about it under the cut!

I’m gonna try to sum this up a lot so if anyone has questions about certain details, its a-ok to ask about them.

So, in this AU Link has a father named Leon. He used to be a Knight for Hyrule, a Captian to be more specific. But after his son, Link, was born he wanted to stop fighting so he could raise his kid! So he retired and became a smith. 

Ganondorf has a mother named Talia, who is the chieftain of the Gerudo. In this AU the Gerudo and Hylians are not on good terms. Funny enough, she met Leon wounded from a dodongo attack when she was trying to reach out and make some sort of alliance with the Gorons. She ended up making sure he didn’t die from the injuries and in the process the two became friends.

Later on, Talia had our boy Ganondorf and told Leon about it, this was around the time he retired too so she found out that he became a smith. Wanting to do the right thing, she commisioned him to make weapons a lot so he could feed his son. Eventually, Leon asked if he could just stay in Gerudo Village and with time the two got together officially :0 making Link and Ganondorf stepbrothers!

The two are really close and are best friends. When they get older Talia proposes that Ganondorf should arrange to be married to Princess Zelda for peace. Surprisingly Ganon agreed on the condition that Link could go with him as his “royal bodyguard” since his triforce was awoken at 19. (Note: Ganon’s Triforce isn’t awake yet, but Zelda’s it, she is 22 in this au.) But there is only one thing bad about this arrangement. Ganondorf is horrible at flirting and has to get his elder brother, who likes to embarrass him, to help. Let’s say it doesn’t go well.
