Shippers tried to say it couldn't be Steph because the dress she wore to Rik's wedding had straps and the cell phone pic looked like the dress was strapless, or very thin straps like what Cait wore...

I know some people are wondering how long they'd been dating at the time of Rik's wedding if they are already kissing and he took her as his date. BUT, remember I told you guys sources told me that Sam and Steph have known each other for many years. They were each living their lives separately, had relationships with other people, and then when the timing was finally right for them to be a couple, it makes sense that they didn't waste any time. Life is precious and short and they both know that. Kind of the stuff that epic love stories are made of...that's why it's ironic that the shippers who say they are all about epic love, have always focused on the wrong things. Anyhooo...

For those saying this may have been as early as January 2025 when Sam posted he went skiing...I don't know, most people use the same snow gear unless they are super frequent skiers. And even if that is when they went, like I said Sam and Steph have known each other for years. I know Steph's second husband died August 2024. So what? Grief is personal and I'm not going to begrudge anyone how they grieve. If it was as early as January 2025, like I said, Steph of all people knows too well how precious and short life is, and maybe she and Sam didn't want to wait longer to be with each other. I don't know that for sure, but I'm not going to judge them. What's important is HOW HAPPY they are. And I'm sure Eoin would want Steph to be happy. Regardless, let's not make assumptions as to when the relationship turned romantic--let's simply focus on the here and now, and the here and now is the happiest Sam I've ever seen. People at Landcon said he was glowing and giddy.

And I'm hearing that shippers and haters are comparing pics of Sam in the early days of Outlander helping Caitriona out of the car at Outlander events vs Sam and Steph getting out of the car at this event. Um, Sam making a big production of offering his hand to Cait to help her out of the car is called PR to PROMOTE the show that was giving them both their big break. In this instance with Steph, Sam was sitting closest to the door that led to the entrance. Of course, he's getting out first, and then Steph gets out. He's there at a work event to greet industry people and fans. He is the one that needs to be front and center. Whereas, at the Outlander events in the early years, BOTH Sam and Cait were there to greet industry people and fans, and BOTH had to be front and center. Anyhoo, me forever explaining the facts of life to the clueless. 🙄

As we already know, Steph has a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's Degree and she works providing animal assisted therapy services. She also sings, paints, draws, makes jewelry, played volleyball in her native Canada, and used to model. She is also a devoted mother to her 9 year old daughter.
Weeelll, she also has actress and author as part of her repertoire. One of the Team let me know that a few years ago Steph acted in a spoof of the long running television series, "The Bachelor." The spoof was a Canadian production called "The Cashelor." Here is some info about it. 👇

The Team member also told me that the hater, shipper, ex-shipper side are making fun of Steph's videos and also saying that she's only dating Sam because she wants to get into acting. Um, an ACTOR dating someone who has acted before, alert the presses! 🙄 Not only is the dark side super misogynistic--putting down every woman Sam has dated, they are also Sam haters. Sam is not dumb. He's 46 years old, has life experience now, and is not going to be anyone's fool.
And if Steph starts doing some acting now, so what? She can act. And she can sing. When she was married to Talos aka Eoin French, she sang. Beautifully. Does that mean she married Talos to become a singer? That's ridiculous. I hate to break it to the idiot brigade, but couples with similar professional interests flock together. Actor couples act, Singer couples sing, Painter couples paint, Lawyer couples practice law, Doctor couples practice medicine. Together. And they help each other in their fields. And sometimes they help each other get jobs. There is nothing wrong with it. It's called helping your partner succeed. I swear sometimes I wonder what alternate universe some of these haters live in. 🤔🙄
And if Steph was such a "user," then why is the indomitable Caitriona Balfe following her on Instagram, liking her posts, especially on her private account, which we saw when Steph's account was open, and why did Cait and Tony go on a double date with Sam and Steph when Sam was performing in Macbeth? And why are SO many people in Sam's life also following Steph? From his Outlander driver, to his family members, to his friends, to his costars. Steph is a special lady for all of that to be happening. Again, none of those people are dumb either. The ONLY other Sam girlfriend Caitriona followed was Mackenzie Mauzy. Cait following Steph speaks to the seriousness of the relationship AND to Cait giving Steph her stamp approval. Clear as day. But, none so blind as those who will not see.🤷♀️
Maybe Sam and Steph can be in a movie together! Imagine. That would be amazing. But, it seems that Steph has taken a different path and is dedicating herself to animal assisted therapy. She's smart and compassionate. Unlike some people in the fandom.
