It was May 24, 1994. The #Rangers hadn’t won a cup in 54 years. And #NewJersey tied the game with seven seconds left. The pressure was palpable inside #MSG. But Stéphane Matteau scored one of the most memorable goals I have ever seen sending the Rangers into the Finals and, eventually, the Stanley Cup championship.
