Remain by STEPHAN MATHIEU
Stephan Mathieu's work is highly focused on experimental ways of recording instruments, sounds and ambience. He has had plenty of various sound installations throughout the years in difference places of the world.
Based on Extended Play by Janek Schaefer, Mathieu's composition Remain is an hour long journey through a vast landscape. It has a consistent weight to it the entire time, but the noise and crackles (almost reminiscent of a stream) brings a sense of air flowing over the thick matter that consists of the lower droning tones.
