Summary:
They think him dead. I pray they never know how close he was to it - that his breath had faltered, that his heartbeat had slowed, that his body had shaken and trembled and convulsed in the throes of illness like any mortal man's. I think he'd expected death to take him, in his few moments of faint awareness. If it had, I would have left this world with him. -- Or: the Sigilist works to bring his lord back.
