The Popes, Research Has Commenced
Sooooo I didn’t really think the popes would be boring to research but I didn’t think I would find it as interesting as I do.... No Judgment...

Dude, I just have to say the Papacy is scandalous... I know I know go figure, an organized wealthy group of anglo-saxon men in power for more then 20 centuries. What else was I expecting...
Surly I wasn’t expecting Pope Stephen VI. Stephen VI hated his predecessor so much that he had him exhumed after 9 months put on trial were he was obviously found guilty for crimes against the papacy. He then had his three blessing figures cut off, his body dragged through the streets, and thrown in a river. That my friends I was not expecting. Understandable Pope Stephen VI didn’t even serve a full year as pope and was imprisoned and strangled to death.
Now there is talk about Pope Stephen VI being politically pressured into taking this actions, but being a pope from the 1st century it is hard to really ever know what took place and this story will forever be his legacy, props.
Now Stephen VI was not the only pope that made the list, right now I have about 20 popes that I am constructing characters for but I do not want to ruin all the fun. In a few weeks I am going to be asking for help on choosing the final 10 that should be in the game. YAY VOTING! I can’t wait to see who everyone’s favorite popes are.
