Hey angel!! Thank you so much!! I’m super glad someone can actually relate to my feelings about this subject like I’ve tried so damn hard to understand it and enjoy it even just for a little bit, but whenever I do actually understand a concept, it’s like my teacher can sense it and immediately starts a whole new topic that’s more complicated than the one I just recently understood and the quizzes and the tests he gives don’t even reflect the problems that we’ve been doing in class. I had a goal to at least get through all my math classes for my entire high school career, but I don’t know man, I just don’t understand STEM classes at all and, like, yeah maybe I need to get out of my comfort zone and realize they might not be that bad, but at the same time, I want to be able to study and pursue the subjects that actually make me feel content and excited to show up at school, you know? And I dislike my math class so much because it’s my first class everyday and today I was trying to do my best to be excited for returning to school (even though I wasn’t, but fake it until you make it right?) and then suddenly my teacher just asks us to share our SAT scores (if we really wanted to) and this one boy was like “Yeah I’m retaking it” and the teacher was like “Oh that’s terrible” and then, when he asks if anyone got a really high score, this one girl raised her hand and the teacher praised her so much and was like “THAT’S AMAZING! SEE GUYS? THAT’S A SCORE THAT SHOULD BE SHARED! SHE IS SO SMART!” and I was just there like?? lmao?? and then this one other girl was like “but isn’t retaking it actually a good thing though? like so you can do better and get a higher score” and he completely ignored her and I’m just like,,, are you serious??? Anyways yeah! That’s my rant for today! Thank you so much for the positive support, angel!! I am eternally grateful for your existence and I’m so glad to be your friend! x
