writing has been equally frustrating and rewarding. thankfully, i am not the only one who feels that way; my officemates also seem to be on the same boat. work has picked up as it is the end of the semester. while teaching has been fun, i am looking forward to the break.

GETTING BACK ON TRACK โ No burnout challenge [Day 18/30]
Eid Mubarak! Today was bakrid so I woke up early and took a shower. I felt really unwell so I ended up napping after breakfast. I woke up feeling slightly better, so i studied for a little while and then went on my daily walk. I bought some sugar-free icecream as a treat and also properly explored my neighborhood on foot for the first time (since living here all my life basically lmao). I've finally been given more freedom to walk/travel on my own and I'm making the most of it :D
I took a lot of breaks during my walk as there were lots of benches in the park. I convinced myself that it's okay to take those breaks and it's not like taking them will cancel out the benefits of the physical activity or that I'm "not really working out". The park near my house is close enough to the other houses that so many people of different ages and physical abilities come to walk there every evening. So it's very encouraging and motivating for me :)
The day ended with my sister buying me some really pretty stickers, and I also watched a video about debunking/deinfluencing StudyTube trends and as a person who consumed studytube content sometimes it gave me a nice little mindset shift. I took notes on the video in my commonplace journal so I can internalise it.
