I'm trying something new by announcing what's coming up. Is that the new trend? 😅 I had a lot of fun writing this.

Even if I was getting in my head if I should post this at all since I feel very reluctant to continue working on this developing series and because I don't know about my writing. The last few years I've been nervous about writing in general and trying other fandoms, instead of working on my Batman story (shhh), and thinking I'm a bad writer when a few people criticized my work. I tend to lose the motivation to write once the hyperfixation becomes lesser.

Update 10/3/19

Its October 3rd bitches.

So, I know my posting has been....nonexistent lately. I really don’t know what has been up with me. I went from trying to post every week to just barely once a month. I have tons of ideas...my drafts are full of them, but I never get a chance to finish them. I want to change that. I want to maybe not weekly posting, but at least every other week. Hope so. So, with my normal scheduled Captured Love and Ruby...I have decided on the theme of Halloween to reunlock the dark part of my brain and post some super dark fics. I am going to give you a fair warning if you are easily triggered, don’t even open read these. If you aren’t and want some dark things...some even featuring the fiend...just send me a message for being tagged.  

I also promised that the final ending of To be the ref should be posted in a couple of days. I just have to finish the editing. Thank you for your patience.  n

fic update: not my girlfriend (garrett graham x best friend!reader)

Okay, seriously, I don't know if there's something about this fandom because there have been so many reblogs (not even thinking about the likes) already for not my girlfriend. After being in hiatus the last 9 months, my imposter syndrome won't let me even entertain the thought that this was truly a good one-shot 😅

So, I'm trying to let you in on the writing process and any other details I can reveal. Connected as a sequel is a small mini-mini series containing three parts. Everything's vaguely outlined and I'm currently pre-drafting the first chapter. There's a potential smut chapter, but I'm still debating how (and whether) to do that since writing that is not my strength, lol.

I think I want to pre-draft all the three parts first before I put out the series masterlist. I just want to have the whole story wrapped up more or less before I put out the single chapters. So, I'm taking my time writing everything. I will update this post during the writing process.

so...

after seeing the last season of the umbrella academy (reaction, not the full length lol), my fic writing mind decided to do something 😅 i can't promise this is going to continue once the muse decides to leave me.

to let you know, i'm going for a mini-fic with sparrow!ben set during season 3 (maybe 3 chapters). let's see if i can do a re-write of season 4 later on.

Summary: Number 8 challenged him. Ben just needed to decide if he liked it or not. Nope, definitely hated it. There was no way in hell he actually liked the little Empath.

Currently working on editing the draft. You might expect something next week. 😘

everything to know about empath/eldritch

After doing a re-watch of S3 to get more of a read on Sparrow!Ben, the inspiration for more chapters in The Empath and the Eldritch Horror just hit me so hard, it's unbelievable. But this way we get to explore more of Ben and Eight's relationship. 🤞🏼

The chapters are going to stay as they are in the masterlist. Once all the chapters are posted, I'm going to sort everything in their chronological order. Most of you said in the poll so far that you want me to add in that series, but still the next two/three chapters are in the i'm not done phase.

The next chapters are set during the episodes 4 and 7 (between chapter 1 and 2) and episode 9 (after chapter 2). I hope the last part works out. At least, I can assure you that two chapters are going to be set. I kinda get nervous when a chapter gets too short, that's why I'm uncertain 😅

For the S4 re-write I got a beta who helps with the brainstorming and editing. But that's still just outlined and it needs some time until we can get to work.

so, funny thing...

i know the empath and the eldritch horror story had only two parts. but to prepare myself for the s4 fic, i decided to rewatch some s3 scenes and had some ideas for sparrow!ben - maybe for one or two chapters. they're basically between chapter one and two 🤷🏻‍♀️ it belongs in the empath/eldritch verse and i don't know whether to officially include it there and just change the chapters. or make it their own two-shot with a new title - i would put it in the same masterlist so you can still find it. kinda feels like whenever taylor swift re-releases her songs from an album with the same mood 😅

so please please please let me know your preference 😘

this one has been trying to be productive (*cough* since christmas) and decided to write a jake fic. who'd have thought? currently just editing and hoping i can post in the coming weeks.

small hint: the gif kinda encapsulates this fic 😏

just look out for my masterlist coming soon! it'll probably be a two-shot since i'm not a fan of posting 7k fics 😅😅
