it was never about behavior...it’s about control.

if she has sex, she’s a slut. if she doesn’t, she’s either lying or hiding something. either way, she’s treated like something to be evaluated, owned, or exposed.

I’ve been wanting to help more people in my community, and in research of what helps and what doesn’t, I’ve found that women are completely left out of the equation. There are plenty of guides for “Homeless Care Packages”, but there’s maybe been one or two that even mention menstrual care. About a million that mention the Bible, though!

I have a list going already, but for those with any suggestions: if you’re a woman, and you are currently or ever have been homeless, what would you want to have to take care of yourself?

Men do, in fact, owe freedom to the women of this world. Your mothers and grandmothers suffered, sacrificed, and fought to ensure their daughters would never again be viewed as mere vessels or property.

You stand on the shoulders of a century of hard-won progress that you now take for granted.

Giving up, throwing it all away, and reducing women back to their biological functions all so you can maintain a fragile and outdated hierarchy is an act of generational betrayal and intellectual cowardice.

My problem with TERFs is not the radical feminism part. In many ways I would consider myself a radical feminist. My problem is that TERFs focus their activism on being anti trans women when they're not even 1% of the world's population. Women around the world are being raped, murdered, mutilated, and trafficked, and all you talk about is whether a group of people (who experience misogyny, btw) get to be considered women? Go donate to an organization helping little girls get an education or something. It's so disingenuous and I truly think it's a distractor from much bigger issues.
