True … I just thought about this actually and I think Sam might not even know that that’s what Cain told Dean? That this is where Dean’s future lies? Because if Sam doesn’t know then why the hell is Dean giving up if not for the fact that the Mark is basically brain-washing him with the lust to kill? Dean was close to hysterical when Cain suggested this is what he was going to do and Dean knows if he doesn’t cure himself, he’ll end up killing his brother. This makes less and less sense by the minute.
Dean didn’t tell Sam about it, but let’s be logical. Sam is clever, he’s been researching for the Mark and the lore about it since last year, HE KNOWS Cain and Abel’s story, it’s obvious. I wouldn’t hold this one on dean.
