He knows he’s a junior at Beacon Hills High School and that his dad is the sheriff of the town, has been the sheriff for over seven years now. He remembers having a pet guinea pig called ‘Bacon’ when he was six, and that he got suspended when he was in middle school when he threw a punch at a classmate who was bullying Scott. He knows Scott is his best friend and that they have been best friends since the first grade. He remembers that his mom died when he was eight and that both he and his dad had taken her death pretty hard.

He doesn’t remember the man called Derek.
