Stereo Stack gallery and posters.
Is that one of the best site descriptions you’ve ever read? Let me repeat it for maximum impact: “a kaleidoscopic-wonderland of hi-fidelity and dual-dynamic vibrancy.”
But this post isn’t about the page title for Stereo Stack. It’s about how a life-long vinyl collector like myself who also happens to be a designer has a special place in his heart for record cover-art. Digitizing records makes for an easy listen, but there is no substitution for analogue cover art in its root form.
Stereo Stack is a site that showcases a “stacked” collection of “in stereo” graphics from a sea of vinyl sleeves. It was compiled and built by the folks at Jive Time Records in Seattle, who also showcase a series of record covers on another site called Project Thirty Three which I’ve been frequenting for quite some time.
