My synagogue just did a service dedicated to Transgender Day of Remembrance and??? I was legit tearing up, I’m still tearing up. It means to much to be publicly and explicitly accepted for who I am by a religion. I have so much...trauma? Maybe? From how my old church & xtian camp treated me after I came out as queer. And it’s so healing. I can be me. I am encouraged to be me.
