About a month ago, Chatzy had some downtime which led to us trying out Discord. The current, active members unanimously voted to make that switch permanent.

Now that it’s almost time for Stetopher (and Stoyd) Week, we all wanted to have an open house for our new chat!

This invitation link will be available through October 31, 2016. It will not expire, and it has unlimited uses. Using this link will give you temporary membership. What does that mean? It means that you must be assigned a role before logging out, or you’ll need to use the invitation again.

Anyone who joins during this open house will be assigned the Open House role. If you decide you’d like to stick around and become a regular member of the server, with full permissions, just ask a mod. We’ll try to upgrade you to Works In Progress as soon as possible.

If all you want to do is lurk, then that’s totally fine (though we hope you’ll eventually want to say hi). We look forward to seeing you there!

Hey! We’re trying out Discord right now, and we’re discussing whether or not this is a permanent move since Chatzy has a lot of issues (even though we pay for upgraded service).

This has been the longest chatzy outage in our time using that site, so I’ve made a temporary (possibly permanent?) alternative with Discord. There are browser, mobile, and download options.

Please send steternetwork an ask if you want the invitation link. The invitation links are time sensitive, so they might expire if you can’t access the program promptly.

Hey, do you have any idea what's going on with the chatzy lovelies?

The chatzy appears to be down for almost everyone. They haven’t given us an update yet, but if it’s anything like previous downtimes, we should have service again within the next few days—possibly even later tonight.

The Chatzy Open House is drawing to a close, and we’ve enjoyed having so many people come in and stay a while!

We’ll transition to the regular password on August 1. That means if you would like the regular password, please do one of the following: 1. come into the chat and ask for it  2. send a message to @steternetwork (without using anonymous)

Chatzy Open House

Hello, everyone!

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the chatzy lately, so we decided to try this out and celebrate Steter Week a little early.

On Monday (July 18) at 12am EST we are going to change the chatzy password to steterweek. That password will be valid until July 31, the end of Steter Week 2016, and then we’ll go back to the old password—which will be available to all visitors during Open House.

Here’s the FAQ. If you have any other questions, please send an ask (anonymous or otherwise) to the Network.
