I hope you guys enjoyed the break for December I know I did. There's so much going on irl and fandom wise that I decided there will not be a December prompt!

Hello, with Pillowfort not being able to sustain the influx of people now and the fact that you have to pay to become a member shouldn't we create a dreamwidth site now? If you need help, I can try to do my best.

There are a few issues about Pillowfort. I won’t discuss their need to change domains, but the paywall and lack of stability are two of the top concerns that new people have. However, Pillowfort has also been the number one requested place for the Network to exist. I suspect that many of our members and tumblr users, in general, will feel more comfortable with Pillowfort’s blogging set up.

Creating a presence on Dreamwidth is a close second to Pillowfort, so I did create one here. The best thing people can do to support either of these communities is to join and be active. I have a good group helping to mod discord and tumblr, but not very many of them are able to make the jump to other platforms right now.If you are interested in helping out with Dreamwidth, please talk to me there. If you’d like to help with Pillowfort, tumblr or discord messages are best until it’s more stable.Thanks for your question, SbS, and thank you all for caring about what happens to the Network. <3

So far, the results on the Informal Poll are for 2, 3, or 5. 1. Create a mirror community on Dreamwidth only. 2. Create a mirror community on Pillowfort only. 3. Create a mirror on both sites. 4. We’ll use existing Steter communities on either site. Create nothing. 5. We’ll use existing Steter communities on either site, but create a blog for the Steter Network Discord server on pfio and/or dw. 6. Other - fill in with your suggestion Let us know if you have a different opinion or another suggestion! There is an empty Steter Network blog on Pillowfort now. We haven’t been able to do much since the site is still having trouble with high traffic, so please don’t be discouraged if you can’t create your account or if pages don’t load. We’re waiting on more results before making a DW mirror, but @tailornorata has created a general Steter community there. Please remember that whatever site(s) we go to will depend on all of you for content! We will only be able to thrive where the fandom wants to be.

Is the discord still up and running? How do I join?

Yes, the discord is still active, and we’re always happy to see new people! If you’d like to join the Steter Network server, please de-anon so we can send you an invitation link. If a day has passed, and you still don’t have a reply, just send another ask in case tumblr ate it.

Anyone can post to the Steter Network collection! The only requirement is that the work actually involves Steter (slash or pre-slash).
