All these robot inspired stories make me think.

What if the Hale's have a robot empire and when Talia finds out about Peter and Derek she makes Peter disappear and turns him into a robot because ethics forbid murder but this is 'okay'.

And she sells Peter to the first person who wants him, not realizing that it's someone in Beacon Hills. W

hen Stiles gets his robot he's surprised how real he seems. But of course something in the feeling/soul/emotion/memory removal went wrong (because it's not done and no one really knows how to do it) so Peter slowly starts remembering.

And he falls in love with Stiles too but he also knows that something is missing, that Stiles isn't the only one who he has feelings for. S

o they set on the quest of finding who Peter is missing, because Stiles can never leave a good mystery alone.

Stiles is gonna be so sad when Peter leaves him for whoever he is missing (Peter is never gonna leave Stiles not that Stiles knows that yet) but Stiles is so into this 'defies all odds' kind of love.

And Derek hasn't stopped searching for Peter ever since his mother told him "Peter had to leave" but it's in Beacon Hills that he sees Peter, laughing next to a gorgeous young guy and Derek thinks they might be holding hands but he's not looking too closely.

He stews in that for three days thinking that maybe Peter tried to get away from him to be with that guy but then Derek decides that he deserves to know.

He tracks Stiles down, finds out where he lives and then he shows up there asking to please speak with Peter.

And Stiles stares at him in confusion but suddenly Peter shows up behind him because he dreamt about that soft voice, heard it gasp and moan and say I love you and You're mine in his dreams and now its real.

And Stiles turns around with a "Guess your name is Peter huh?" because they didn't know.

Peter came with a number and didn't remember so Stiles called him something else.

Derek is confused, suspects amnesia for a second, but then they explain and Derek is horrified by what his mother did and Peter can't keep his hands off Derek because he finally found him and Stiles watches them fondly (And a little bit sadly).

Derek drops by all the time after that and he gets to know Stiles and he helps Peter restore his memories and somewhere along the line they all three fall into something that fits for them.

Peter will never be quite human again but Stiles and Derek love him so much it hardly matters.

7. What do they get up to on a night out? 

Steter: Murder. They treat it like other people treat romantic dinners out.

Sterek: Those two are definitely the romantic dinners kind of couple. They do dinner, not too fancy, something they both like, maybe with a candle but not always, and then they go to see a movie, where they cuddle more than watch the screen.

Steterek: They don’t go out often. Beacon Hills is too small, and the Hale’s too well known for them to ever go out without curious, judging, or hateful stares. While Peter and Stiles don’t care about that much, Derek does. He never does well under too much attention. So they all prefere to stay inside, cuddle on the couch and watch movies.

fic idea / headcanon #2! est steter. the mccall pack wakes up one morning and can’t feel derek through the pack bond. stiles and peter call an emergency meeting bc they’re scared derek died, only for scott to admit that he cut derek from the pack bc he thought he was challenging him for the alpha position. peter and stiles flip their lids and go out and kill an alpha, then return to derek and they make a new pack together. (can you tell i’m a sucker for hurt!derek yet??)

I love that you're a sucker for hurt Derek, please never stop.

And also, holy shit.

Can you imagine that moment when Peter wakes up and Derek is just gone? Can you even imagine the heartstopping fear that threatens to consume him whole because Derek is not there anymore.

Peter barely manages to reach out to Stiles and shake him awake he's that numb and in so much panic Stiles thinks for a second he's going to collapse.

But when Peter finally tells him what's going on he experiences that same amount of desperate fear, because this cannot be true. Derek didn't die. They didn't lose him, it's not possible.

Stiles texts the pack on the way to the loft which is dark and silent and empty and Stiles and Peter freeze for long seconds, only jolted out of it when Boyd and Erica arrive.

Isaac and Scott take a little bit longer and by then Stiles has worn a path in the carpet, he's walking around so much.

Peter is calm, outwardly, but he would like nothing better than to scream and kill something and then maybe hide and cry for a week.

Stiles is too impatient to wait for Lydia and Malia to arrive so he just blurts it out and he can tell just from the beta's faces that they can't feel Derek either.

Which just freezes him in fear again because oh god Derek is dead.

But then Scott's speaks up and tells them not to be stupid, he just cut off the pack bonds with Derek because he was challenging him for the alpha power and they don't need that kind of friction in the pack.

And now Stiles goes deadly still, which is always a very bad sign. Especially when Peter is just as still at his side.

It's Erica who finally asks because clearly Peter and Stiles are in no condition to do so and her voice shakes a bit when she asks just what the fuck Scott is talking about.

And Scott tells them that Derek was constantly threatening his power and status, that he was always challenging him and Scott couldn't allow for that any longer.

Who knew to what lengths Derek would go to to become alpha again.

Stiles very clearly states that Scott had been worrying about the wrong Hale all this time and Peter roars in his face and smashes him into the next wall.

They don't look back when they leave.

Peter immediately leaves to kill Deucalion and reclaim his alpha status while Stiles searches for Derek.

He finds him, holed up in Stiles old bedroom of all places and Derek is shaking and pale and he seems so very small.

And he immediately chokes out that he's sorry, he knows he's not supposed to be there, that he should be long gone but he needed some time to just come to terms with it and he will be out of Stiles hair in a second.

Stiles mountain ash traps him because Derek is beyond rational thought right now and isn't properly listening to Stiles and he keeps Derek there the whole night and the next day.

Derek doesn't get better, not really because being rejected by your alpha leaves some serious damage and Stiles prays for Peter to return soon.

He does, with a flourish and a witty one-liner, because he's Peter, but when he sees Derek's still slouched frame, smells his fear and hurt he quickly sobers up.

He immediately claims Derek as his, brings his teeth to Derek's neck in the softest way possible and Derek starts to shake when he feels a bond forming.

He clutches at Peter so desperately that he can't even make Stiles properly pack because Derek just won't let him move away, but neither of them really mind that.

Stiles can wait and Peter needs to hold Derek close and reassure him that his alpha very mich wants him.

(In all the ways, but it's too early for that.

They need time to heal first; Derek needs to believe that Peter and Stiles want him in his pack and they have to rid Beacon Hills of the imposter before they can gently convince Derek that there isn't just a place in Peter's pack for him but also a place in their relationship.

It takes time and gentle words and even gentler actions but when Derek finally believes them, finally joins them in all the ways, it's the best damn thing that ever happened to all of them.)

fic idea / headcanon: steter is in a est. relationship while derek pines in the background. one day a pack comes to make an alliance, but they want a marriage between the two packs to seal the deal. scott offers up derek, guilting him into it (“its for the good of the pack! don’t you care about the pack?”) derek is obviously miserable but agrees, which piss stiles and peter off, realllly badly. peter+stiles kick everyones ass then cuddle their sourwolf, claiming him as theirs.

You, you I like. You get me.

It would be such a Derek thing to do, too.

He just wants the pack to be safe and he kind of is the only one without a significant other too, so it makes total sense that they would offer him.

And a tiny part of Derek wants to accept and leave so he doesn't have to see Stiles and Peter together every damn day. He's happy for them, he really is, he loves them both so much but it hurts to see them kissing and cuddling all day long.

So Derek figures it will be best if he marries that other wolf and leaves. Not only for the pack but also for his own sanity.

So he resolutely tells everyone that he'll think about it, ignoring Peter and Stiles piercing gazes.

And about three days before the next meeting it hits him that he will have to leave with the other pack, will never get to see Stiles and Peter be grumpy in the morning or watch them fight over the remote or play up their PDA to enrage Scott.

And he desperately doesn't want to leave.

But he also already kinda told Scott yes, so he can't go back on his word and it makes him miserable.

This is where Stiles and Peter step in. They waited because for a second it looked like Derek really wanted to go but now there's nothing but misery in his scent and movement and face and they will not allow this.

Derek is theirs and he cannot leave.

But Scott keeps continuing to push Derek into that marriage and Stiles and Peter get progressively more snappish at him and they unconsciously always move in front of Derek, like they want to protect him.

And then the day of the next meeting comes and Peter can barely keep his wolf in check and Stiles bristles with his magic and when Scott offers up Derek the other alpha asks him very dumbfoundedly why he would give them a clearly mated wolf.

Scott stares in confusion, Derek stares in blatant hope and Peter and Stiles use the moment to drag Derek away and into their home and bed, cuddling the shit out of him because they nearly lost him and no, Derek you can't get up yet, it's too early to let you leave again.

And Derek rolls his eyes and pretends it's the worst thing to have to settle in between them again when even Stiles without werewolf senses can tell that he's almost overflowing with happiness.

What if the wolf shift is actually normal for alphas and usually they are the normal wolf size. But the more an alpha is loved by their pack the bigger the shift gets. Talia had a pretty big wolf shift, but her pack was a family pack so it was to be expected.

But Derek's pack is made up of teenagers, and bitten ones at that, and banshees and hunters and humans and even some non-werewolf shifters, so no one expects his shift to be even normal wolf size.

But when another wolf pack insults Derek’s pack, insults his family, Derek shifts out of annoyance and his wolf form is huge. Like his-shoulder-is-on-head-level-with-a-human-huge.

The other pack leaves very quickly after seeing that.

Stiles claims since his love is totally the main reason Derek is this huge, he gets to ride him back home, while Peter just amusedly watches them, knowing damn well that Derek’s big form almost doubled in seize when he came back from the dead.

Because I saw that art @andavs did again.

What if Stiles is the assassin of one King Scott McCall. And so that Stiles can learn more about the trade of his profession he gets sent to do kind of like an internship with Peter Hale, King Derek Hale's assassin.

But what he learns there is nearly blowing his mind, because Derek always wants to know what he's doing, if he's safe, if he's hurt or if he needs anything. He wants to be kept in the loop and be notified whenever Stiles and Peter go out.

Scott never did that; Scott treated Stiles like he was the worst kind of person and he was just around because they needed someone to do that job. He didn't want to know what Stiles was up to and he never wanted to know why he was hurt.

But not so with the Hale's. They treat their assassins with respect.

Derek and Peter don't quite believe Stiles when he tells them, because the work Stiles does needs to be treated with respect, he's saving the kingdom more often than not after all, and so Derek decides to sent Peter back with Stiles, just for a few weeks, to see if Stiles is telling the truth.

Peter returns after a week, absolutely furious and Stiles in tow, and tells Derek in no uncertain terms that there is no way in hell he will ever allow Stiles to go back there and if Derek's not marrying him to protect him from that foolish King, then Peter will.
