Aoki is one of the owners of DECKSTAR (with Eminem manager as well). They work with a bunch of alternative/EDM artist but also with Blink and Smashing Pumpkins. Not sure if it is a relation to Louis but recently BB did an article on Deckstar, and they said they're looking to explore others fields. He's also connected to IHEART somehow, he has played on it many times, and here watch?v=FJjfakP-BrE in 2014 he already talked about 1D and his luv foy boybands. He has also played 1D at Tomorrowland.
Forgot to say Aoki released a doc with Netflix just this August too and he is a producer. Most times he works incognito but he has worked with David Guetta, JB, Eminem, Riri, Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding etc. He is also launching a new mobile game (much like the Kardashians etc). So, I dont know if Louis and him have a connection other than being acquaintances or friendly with one another but Steve has some musical connections. Or maybe they just hit off.
Here is more Steve Aoki for u. He owns a record label Dim Mak. DimMak has very close ties to Iggy, not sure how but she has worked with many of their artists including Steve. He is the son of Rocky Aoki, the movie Wall Street was based on his life. His sister is Devon Aoki, a model that has worked for the biggest fashion houses. Both sibling are very close friends with Kate Moss, Alexa Chung and Jeremy Scott. I dont know if any of this makes any ties to Louis maybe someone can investigate.

A Steve Aoki fan came and let me know he’s fairly well established in the EDM world so I was wondering what the links were to Louis beyond the obvious exposure to new fans (the 1D fandom) because EVERY ARTIST (and their team) wants more exposure because that equals more $$$. So your point about the Deckstar wanting to explore other fields proves that assumption of mine. Steve Aoki is not an owner of Deckstar, but one of the artists on their roster.

In terms of the various links, there are numerous names you listed that have been linked to one or several of the boys. Bieber has been linked to Zaynie and Nialler as well as the linkage via Scooter Braun. Calvin Harris and Zayn were in that public (PR) twitter “fight” and share the same PR team. And of course, Calvin was “dating” Swifty who is “friends” with Gigi and Kendall (all beards linked to the boys). Ellie and Zayn share the same “new” management team. And Harry has been portrayed as being friends with Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, being papped together (both being in Grimmy’s crew) so there are several links.
I still think we’re gonna hear about Louis - maybe “his” girlband - doing some work with Steve, and this is the groundwork being laid.
