9 - tell a story about your childhood

This is a great one, but it was told to me; It's not a memory. When I was four or five, I had princesses on my mind because I was a huge Disney fan and my mom had just gotten me a banana split at the gas station. I'm four, so it's huge, and it takes both of my hands to hold it. Then I get to the car door as my mom fills the tank and I look around, spot a random dude on the other side also filling up his gas, and clear out my throat. He looks over, I look at the car door, my ice cream, and then him, and say "my hands are full" in a very expectant tone. "Oh, well, let me get that for you!" He says, cheerily walking over and opening the door for me with a grand bow. My mom looks over wondering what the hell's is going on and he closes the door, his gentlemanly smile evaporating as he continues to tell her off about letting me talk to strangers so nonchalantly, and then leaves. Meanwhile, I got my banana split and am none the wiser as to what just happened to my poor mom. And she doesn't know what to do with me because it was already done. And I already know not to talk to strangers. But apparently that goes out the window when I'm a princess with ice cream. Because, damn it, my hands were full and I'm a princess. *facepalm

15 - what do you think of when you hear the word "home"?

My bed, my cats, my Deo, my drawing tablet, my fancy laptop, my food, generally in that order. It's not that Deo is third, but usually I'm heading home with dreams of my bed and cats keeping me warm and then I actually get there and Deo greets me with kisses and hugs and he grabs my stuff if I'm carrying anything. (Guess I never grew out of the princess thing…) Then I'll go upstairs to do art/writing work and eat, and take my nap afterwards even though I was tired when I got home. 😆 So, yeah. In that order. Wow. Didn't realize how habitual I was. 😆

39 - youtuber you've been obsessed with and why?

I've never been obsessed with any particular youtuber. I enjoyed FluffyTalks because he was funny, but that was back in 2010-2011 and I haven't really watched him much since, but then I thought, it doesn't have to be a youtuber, right? So then I thought of Steveioe. (Turns out he's on YouTube, but I only just learned that now. I found him on FB and thought he was just on TikTok. My bad.) Anyway, I used to work at a medical care facility, but not as a medical care professional. Still, I had my fair share of patient interactions and stories. So while I'm watching his videos, half of me is like "yeah, that's real" and the other half of me is like "but I didn't know it was that bad." And all of it is funny. Highly recommend. His skits are really short and he's really brought out the different personalities of Ben, Rich and Austin. Fucking love 'em. 😆 I love them all for their own reasons.

This is 2 years old, but I finally found someone who said outloud what I've been thinking. I don't understand why nobody has called him out more... he makes me fear going into the ER again...
