i think its interesting that even though jasper has/had power over malachite she stayed fused to fight the gems instead of unfusing like you’d think she’d want out of there but maybe her mind is warped at the moment because of fusion ? lapis didnt really seem to be thinking straight and only came back when she was afraid of being trapped again
