i imagine steven went on like his canonical story - he stepped down from being a champion and pursued his interest in geology more.

part of me believes he's eventually going to seek for a relationship too because but might struggle a bit because its not really easy creating a close bond with someone when you're both: 1) very popular, young and attractive and people might skip your personality for your looks 2) somewhat introverted and prefers to be by yourself.

these factors were disregarded when he met jaide because he knew her when they were younger and thus had an established connection 😔😔

this was from raw gut instinct, I didn't think of this before but my immediate thought is mermaid. i think he would look absolutely stunning as one 💚 (very ironic however because i conceptualized a mermaid x sailor au for these two before but he's the sailor) im also just generally biased towards mermaids and ocean stuff :] when i was younger i had a big mermaid phase hehee so naturally id run to that concept immediately 💚 steven feels like he'd be ariel in a way that she hoards a lot of stuff from the surface. he probably does this with jewelry 💚

HEHSKKSKDHDHDHSJSJSJS MAYBE WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED CELESTEELA... its such a wild looking thing i think kid steven loved it so much before settling with the 'mons he have today (i imagine he was younger he was like "i wanna partner with THIS pokemon. no matter what" and then changes preference when hes older) .... but that aside, i think it would be really cute if he had a carbink one... its cute and pretty! saying the metagross line is an easy answer 😔 so i hope this will suffice... :3
