Look who's here! It's CHRISTMAS DEUT!
Here comes Mulletstrap running to meet him like a good boy.
Skimblesack! (Geroge and Carbuckety quickly vacate Santa's throne.)
They do not get presents though. Presents are only for girl kittens.
Etcetera may have a present!
She shares it with Jemima and Greycat and quickly goes back for more.
Bill Bailey is hopeful behind Jemima's shoulders. George is just happy to sit by Munkustrap's foot and be included.
Happy Jellicle Christmas, everybody!

Michael Sanderson as Deuteronomy, Sandy Strallen as Munkustrap, Adam Matalon as Skimbleshanks, Japheth Myers as Carbuckety (in the days before he was Skimbleshanks himself!), Steven Wayne as always-and-forever George, Cherida Langford as Victoria, Marsha Bland as Etcetera, Ruthie Henshall as Jemima, Diane Manou as Greycat, and Adrian Edmeades as Bill Bailey.
Kim Winfield as Jellylorum and Steven Wayne as George - London 1988
If you have been following me for long enough, you may know that my two favourite characters in CATS are Jellylorum and Victoria.
Needless to say, I am fond of seeing the different designs for any characters throughout the productions and years, especially for my favourite Cats.
I think this Jelly might be my favourite design I have seen yet! It looks like a mixture between the London and Broadway designs, with gold replacing the yellow.
LOOK AT HER! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
This design has so much more emphasis on the black and especially the gold colours of the design and makeup, and I am in love!
I love the traditional London designs, as they are iconic, but seeing a picture like this makes me a bit sad that there are very little deviations from them in current productions.
