Thanks love! read the links and I can see how it could’ve been seen as a classist statement, but I also think the article was just pinning him as someone he really wasn’t, especially given it was a live journal gossip column that lives with the motto of, “The celebrities are disposable. The gossip is priceless.” I would suggest a different link unless your definition of classist would also include not being aware of one’s privilege.
Also the Ben and autism article has it’s own points and both the author and I agree that Ben just needs to be more educated about the matter. But he was not in any way comparing autistic people to Frankenstein’s monster.
As for the link about Ben being trans phobic. One can also contribute this to him not being aware or well educated on the matter. If one also notices, the interviewer also uses the term ‘he’.
