I always love when we get records in that are stepping stones to a musicians success if it be solo or with a band. Like Milkwood to The Cars, The Lower Third to David Bowie, New Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin, Rainbow to Kiss, The Warlocks to The Grateful Dead, and even Small Faces to Faces 😂 I love finding these early primes bands before the later successful band. It’s fun to read the back of a record and catch a known musician on a album you didn’t expect or know they got their kick off on. Buckingham Nicks is a great example of that to Fleetwood Mac post-peter green. I love the cover and it’s wild to see Stevi so young. So next time you’re in a record store, and see a record with a weird name you’ve never heard before... read the names on the back. You may know who’s playing on it.
