One of the joys of upstate New York living are the Stewart’s Shops found throughout much of the eastern part of the region.  Periodically their ice cream goes on sale--a real half-gallon, mind you--with a wide array of great flavors (“Crumbs Along the Mohawk” is my particular favorite!)  Anyway, I really admired the creative dog-themed display at the Lowville NY store during a visit on New Year’s Day last year.

Holy wow its fast paced working at Stewarts. The store I'm at now has the most gas pumps of any Stewarts I found out, and so its just supersuper busy. Also the cinema (where I worked before) had no cash registers, so yesterday was my first time working with cash registers, and it was a touch screen and pretty self explanatory, but Stewarts really wants you to be fast and so I rushed a bit and made a few mistakes. I guess that's what a first day is for though, I hope there's still some slack when I work tomorrow.
