I need to like sit down and bang out some thoughts and ideas regarding my super basic Stewjoni Name Meanings theories. Like how Obi-Wan is the most common name on Stewjon because Wan is just the localization of (masculine) Jon (and that Ani is the feminine localization of Jon) and that numbered-child names are fairly common as well as cultural hero names (the first Obi-Wan being a saint-figure from a long ass time ago) and that Kenobi is one of the more common surnames that people who are many generations away from having family on Stewjon can have because it began as a title for explorers and wayfarers and eventually became one of those "surnames that's also a job description but since most people end up doing what their parents did for a job, well..." type situations. And "Obi" means "Wander" so the literal translation of OUR Obi-Wan's name is "Wandering Jon, He Who Wanders" and you can't go through a single Stewjoni kindergarten class without running into three Obi-Wans and a Kenobi, so his parents are just, you know. Not terribly creative people.
