Some days you fight your brain to run. Then you go. And it tells you to stop. To rest. To walk. And you start thinking of what this day will be in history. Forever a day that shook our way of dealing with our feelings. A day that so many of our friends and members in our running community were changed. And you start changing your focus from hating your run to running for those who cant, Or who had that victory of owning those training runs stolen from them. My mind silenced as every footstep became a step for runners of the Boston marathon. Huge thanks for Michelle for being so honest about what this day means to her. ..because had I not read her post today I might not have forced myself to go...
