Jack is not a rabbit, hare, or deer i don’t think i think he embodies more of an Elk. He’s characterized by his strong, protective nature. Similar of that to the Elk, symbolic in its protection and bravery. We know Jack is deeply family rooted, encasing his strong protectiveness over his family.
He also doesn’t encapsulate the symbolism of the deer nor the hare. The deer, symbolic through its calm, harmonic nature, is a stark contrast from what we have seen in Jack. He does have a softness, but not in a weak willed way as presented within deer symbolism. Similarly, the hare is symbolically shaped around life and regeneration, closer to “Bon” then Jack, giving us a furthermore of why Jack and “Bon” are not the same. Perhaps inhabiting the same vessel, but not inherently the same.
I can see, i can feel, I can love. Guys that’s actually Jack I fear, the image (to my knowledge) is of a deer instead of an Elk, but i feel my point still stands.
