St George's Harbour...Cape Drepanum Right near St George's Rock. Also named Geronissos or Iera Nisos (Sacred Island), which is said to host a sanctuary dedicated to the God Apollo. We go here quite a lot as many people have spotted turtles and there is a MASSIVE one that frequents the area apparently but we are yet to be lucky enough. Raphael is always asking 'can we go see the turtles today'... lots of fisherman keep their boats here and also fish from the rocks. There are also some monk seals that have been spotted here too. If you go up the road from there too, overlooking the bay, there is lovely little church, a great archaeological site with some history and you can often get fresh fish served in the taverna. #stgeorgesrock #cyprushistory #cypruswildlife #cypruslife #cyprusarcheology #mumlife #cyprusblogger #mumblogger #workfromhomemum #stayathomemum (at St George's Harbour Peyia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPb3A0DlBSy/?utm_medium=tumblr
