The second story has Mina Mongoose personally apologise to Nicole for accidentally being the cause of the civilians of New Mobotropolis turn on her.

The characters are drawn really well and you really feel their interactions, and that’s saying a lot, considering one of them is a computer screen.

Mina asks Nicole to return to the city and flush Naugus out, and the two come to an understanding. I don’t know why but I think its a really impactful visual for Nicole to half-materialise herself, but huddled up on the ground.

I like Mecha Sally being the villain’s “smart” minion. It makes her stand out beside Metal Sonic and the other robots.

The general plot of this issue is that Lupe of the Wolf Pack and Queen Hathor of the Felidae are both taken by Eggman’s minions, and we get a reintroduction to the queen and her culture. I always like how Sonic respects their culture in the comic.

Orbot's back in sassing Dr. Eggman for his past failures, and Cubot being comic relief. I like the dynamic these three have, a lot!

Steven Butler being back on pencils reminds me how he's not the best when it comes to character expressions.
