My most recent #stitchedart piece: an #architecture study of the magnificent #stibbertmuseum in #florenceitaly (the #Stibbert is a #museum off the tourist track, an absolute treasure trove of #historicarmor and weaponry ) We visited many years ago and I took the photo from which I based this piece... spending time on #handstitching the building structures was a satisfying meditation in form and color. “The Stibbert” is #stitched on a medium weight cotton/poly blend, and measures 8 inches round.
