since the first episode of ava 6 premiered not too long before summer break and the rainstorm actual short kinda implies that red still goes to monster school it's my personal headcanon that ava 6 happens during red's summer break
mainly because i think it'd be fucking hilarious if someone asked red what he did over the summer and he explains the entirety of ava 6 to them
some doodles for an au i've been talking about with a friend :) might write a fic about this hehe
one thing that will always get me is how blue only attempts to fight back against the rocket corp employees once yellow got grabbed by the workers. and even then they kept trying to reach for each other!!
i mean...blue was 100% willing to surrender herself to rocket corp/victim. before yellow got grabbed, she didnt even try fighting like red and green did (and yellow tried to). and even when yellow DID get taken, she went for yellow almost immediately. she only went to attack agent because he was blocking her way. hell, i bet that she would've given herself up for her friends, if they didn't take yellow first.
god. they love each other so much. i'm not okay.
a recent thought. btw

BLUE. BLUE M'DARLING
total icon, right here. she's interested in cooking. she likes messing with potions. sure she has an addiction to netherwarts but she's fine probably
in my opinion (at least, judging by the amount of content i've seen of her on tumblr/other social platforms) blue is. the most underrated member of the cg by milestones. she fades into the background a lot, overshadowed by orange/green/the others, which i think makes the moments she has the spotlight more special, since she doesn't really get that too often! i hope that blue gets the spotlight in an upcoming short, though. (a full-length short, not one of the actual shorts.) she hasn't gotten an episode of her own since piglin war, which was three years ago!! blue's long overdue for her own episode by now, i think.
(you could argue that the raid/the chef could count as blue-centric episodes, but i don't think they count as such since blue shares screen time equally with yellow/the rest of the color gang in said eps.)
also can we talk about how NOBODY utilizes any of the angst potential for blue AT ALL??? i mean, she fell into lava and sunk almost all the way in, she got abducted and abused (aka was turned into a piston to collect netherwart) by a witch and was in a white void for what was most likely hours, and then there's the fact that blue most likely blames herself for causing s3 of avm.
and this is all before her netherwart addiction, mind you.
we really need to angst blue, i think. it would make me very happy
a personal theory of mine concerning the beckerverse is that i don't believe that chosen, dark, and orange/second were the only other iterations of hollowheads created by alan, after he made victim.
no, i have reason to believe there were others before all of them.
Blue angst time >:)
You think Blue feels guilty for unintentionally setting off the events that lead to King nearly destroying Minecraft? If so, how does this affect them in their way of thinking and how they act now? They seem to still enjoy their Netherwart just fine though, so maybe the guilt thing doesnt work :P
oh, i think she very much does feel guilty about "causing" the events of s3.
i think it ties not to her netherwart, but to the reason why she got said netherwart. she went to the nether by herself because she was selfish, because she just wanted some netherwart.
but she didn't get her netherwart.
instead, she put all her friends in danger, nearly killing them all.
i think blue becomes way too selfless after the events of the war with king. after all, she "set everything in motion" because she was selfish. so she pushes herself to the furthest backburner, running herself ragged just so she can make her friends happy.
who cares if she's tired or hungry, or if she hasn't had any time to herself in ages? she can't allow herself to be selfish. she won't.
she doesn't wanna hurt her friends again.
of course, the others do confront blue about this at some point, when they realize how worn-out and sick blue is becoming because of her selflessness.
but she still struggles with the mindset of "if i'm selfish/i do this for myself i'll just hurt everyone i love" a lot. this usually ends in yellow or green having to knock some sense into her/have her take care of herself.
