Stiles Stilinski stared at the black and white printed image in utter disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me," he muttered, running a hand through his already disheveled hair. "First, I shack up with a werewolf, then I nearly die every other week, and now...now this?" He looked around the exam room, as if expecting someone to jump out and yell 'Gotcha!'
"Okay, Stiles, think," he said to himself, pacing the small space. "This isn't the end of the world. It's just a...complication. A tiny, human-shaped complication." He paused, then snorted. "Only me. Only I could manage to get pregnant. What, is there a cosmic 'mess with Stiles' button somewhere?"
He took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing thoughts. "Right. First things first. Gotta tell Derek. He’s gonna freak. But in a good way. Hopefully. And then...well, we'll figure out the rest. We always do."
With a resolute nod, Stiles grabbed his phone and dialed Derek's number, muttering under his breath, "Just another day in the life of Stiles Stilinski: the boy who lived...and then got pregnant."
