Commander Eckard Manu. Also known as CC-7878, Cap, and Temple.
The bitter and jaded original captain of the 345th’s Echo Company before his desertion when he was sent to be reconditioned and defection to Spar’s fraction. Manu. Temple earned his nickname from his trainer, Isabet Reau, as a running joke of how often he banged his head off of things in his cadet days.
Once, Manu had been a compassionate and humorful type of guy but as the Clone Wars carried on and witnessing the astrocities of his general, he quickly grew disillusioned with the Republic and started to rebel. His demeanor still remains mostly the same since his defection although developing a more sardonic attitude.
As a Reau trained cadet, Manu carries an aggressive and eeriely calm demeanor, but lacks the same manipulative and more dangerous traits that other Reau cadets process.
After his desertion, he was assigned to Mandalore’s security council and House Ordo’s council of elders., serving as the second-in-command of the Journeyman Protectors. As well as supervising external affairs alongside Jax Vizsla, Manu is usually the one who will assist other clones in their desertions and has no quarms about working with the Republic, if it benefits himself and Mandalore.
