Where did you come up with the chara tag system? I've never seen anything like it anywhere else
Actually, I saw it on a few blogs myself -- not exactly the same, but the basic concept of using descriptive phrases to tag for characters -- and I liked it. I mean I’m a writer, so the idea struck me as a fun one, to come up with unique tag names for my favorite characters and ships. It’s also nice because I’m the only one with that particular tag, so it doesn’t get confusing for me because I’m tagging stuff with their name like literally everyone else does; it’s unique to my blog.
It’s fun to come up with stuff, though a bit tedious to add new stuff to my tag page with every one I come up with -- it’s worth it, though!
Dear Mr. Sims: I've long been an admirer of your work, since back before you wrote for ComicsAlliance, and have always considered you a reputable authority. I know that in addition to being the foremost Batmanologist, you are also an expert in tokusatsu of all types. For who grew up on Power Rangers of various stripes but is otherwise new to the genre, what would you recommend in a Kamen Rider?
I wouldn't say I'm an expert; there are plenty of people who know way more about tokusatsu than I do. But I can definitely highly recommend Kamen Rider Fourze, as it's legit my favorite piece of superhero media not called Batman: The Brave and the Bold to come out in the past decade.
I'm really enjoying the current series, Drive, too, and I liked W a lot. I was warned off of Wizard, though.
