Yesterday we shared Stina Winery’s red Cuvée, today it’s the white. This is another great wine anchored by an indigenous Croatian varietal - Pošip - but blended with 30% juice from two other varietals (Vugava and Chardonnay). At $13 this is a supreme bargain I have to say! This cuvée will appeal to casual wine drinkers and #winegeeks alike. It is smooth and can be enjoyed with or without food. These two Croatian beauties were perfect wines for our second Michelin ⭐️ restaurant of the long weekend. Al’s Place in San Francisco is a terrific restaurant whose food is so inventive and turns upside down how you think about food. At Al’s Place, the veggies are the star of the show and boy do they shine. And the seafood? Wow! Oh - and the meat! You have to serve killer food to get a Michelin 🌟 in an unassuming neighborhood ...across from the Salvation Army thrift store...with no fancy decor or plates or silverware. All the bullshit is stripped away and the food speaks for itself.
