Right on time.
I sure love an October wedding.
So, let’s talk about one.
Let’s start with a hotel room filled with a fun version of chaos, and a cluttered bed.
A bride crew that literally catered to every need of this wedding.
A dress so beautiful, it takes your breath away.
A surprise cake we’ll find later at the reception, we’ll eventually get to.
Let’s throw in some Dads who sure love their kids.
And the Moms. Well, duh.
A daughter who has a new bonus Dad who has stepped up in huge ways.
A toddler that is less than cooperative, but cute as a button.
Then sprinkle it with a bride and groom who clearly became best friends first, and fell in love along the way. And have a tribe that loves them fiercely.
Then throw in some killer dance moves.
You get an October wedding to remember. But, most importantly, you get a foursome that is going to live happily ever after.
Lacy and Patrick asked me to capture this amazing day. I learned quickly there was time, and then there was Lacy time. We made it (in Lacy time) to St. Theodore Church in O’Fallon that was almost as picturesque as our bride.
After a beautiful Catholic mass full of laughter, love, and faith, the groom got to kiss his bride.
Then we partied.
And, yes, we partied.
We made our way to the Quarry Wine Garden in Wentzville. Wendy Fitter of Unleashed Music and Events had such a great music list that she even had the bartenders dancing.
The reception ended with a surprise hot air balloon off in the distance.
Every detail of this wedding was splendid.
Lacy and Patrick, I wish you the happily ever after you deserve. You are an amazing couple. Keep having fun, laughing at one another, and searching for joy. But, most importantly, keep dancing. And, Patrick, close those cabinet doors!
