Prices are already going up a little so RIGHT NOW is the time to stockpile as many as you feasibly can, N/KN95s are going to be all that stands between you and measles, bacterial meningitis, whooping cough (I lived through that, but only just. -20/10 Do not recommend.), tuberculosis and everything else that's about to come swarming back in the next 4 years or more. (Nevermind how toxic the air's about to become again in general...)

eBay is a good source for known quality brand name masks in bulk, people are still selling off enormous stockpiles from five years ago. I just scored a box of 50 for $34 less than Home Depot is currently charging for the same thing, but the time is now for this, people are only just starting to realize.

ADDENDUM: THE ONLY LAB THAT CERTIFIES RESPIRATORS AS SAFE AND INVESTIGATES THEIR QUALITY IS BEING SHUT DOWN BY THE US GOVERNMENT NEXT MONTH.

This is literally the lab that created the NIOSH standard. Without their work, nobody will be monitoring the quality of PPE required on the job by millions. No inspections, no certifications, no testing. No proof any mask will provide any protection from anything.

Along with certifying new products, lab employees regularly inspect respirator manufacturing plants and test masks that have already been approved to ensure they’re still being manufactured to NIOSH standards. Murphey's Law

Why can't crap like getting sick happen when you have money? I usually try to keep a slew of meds on hand just in case someone gets sick. Once one person gets sick, we all get sick. I like to be prepared.

Unfortunately, when I got sick a couple of months ago, I went through all the meds. I just haven't been able to stock up since. Every time I had money, it had to be used for something like food, gas, a room, etc.

Dave was so sick last night that he nearly drove the van off the road, and he fell in the bathroom. But you know that a man and woman can both be running a high fever, coughing, with breathing difficulties and the woman will power through it while the guy whines and cries. Yea, so there's that.
