🏵️ How did your ship meet? What were their first impressions?

mimik snuck into the monastery while the elemental alliance was out fighting so that he could steal some priceless artifacts, then krux saw him and tackled him to the ground. fist fight/sword fight ensues 💀

krux saw mimik as a sloppy & impulsive but strong fighter, someone he could possibly use in the future for his own benefit

mimik saw krux as just some elemental master asshole that he probably wont get that close with (he was very wrong)

🌸 Do you have any basic headcanons? (Age, Sexuality, Etc.)

YAY i get to share my HCs for krux!! hes egyptian-filipino-swedish, a genderqueer bi trans man, autistic & bpd-haver, and 68 years old

and for mimik hes. well hes half anacondrai but his human half is filipino, a genderqueer demiro acespec bi trans man, autistic & bpd-haver, and mentally in his late 50s but hes technically older than krux cuz im pretty sure serpentine age slower

(i project a lot onto my F/Os in terms of headcanons, sorry 😭😭)

🦅: How good are their friends at being wingmen? Do they even help at all or just sit back watching the pining with a bag of popcorn?

the rest of the elemental alliance (if you can call them "friends") didn't know about krux & mimik since. y'know. they're enemy factions in a species war 😅

but krux did tell his brother (acronix) about mimik. acronix didn't directly be a wingman since he doesn't care about romance, but he did make sure that krux got assigned on a lot of scouting tasks so that he had an excuse to disappear for hours at a time hehe

💕: Who confessed first and how? Did it go as planned or did shenanigans ensue?

mimik confessed first :] it went well, aside from the fact that krux quite literally froze in place because he wasn't expecting a confession LOL

💧: How well do they comfort each other when they’re upset?

they're both emotionally closed-off because of past traumatic experiences so when either of them falter, the other just stays by their side, silently supporting them. the most that krux can muster up is putting his hand on mimik's shoulder and muttering something about "this too, shall pass". it might not seem like a lot but neither of them are touchy-feely so anything "more" is just uncomfortable ^^

damn.... the way krux, mimik, and harumi are all connected through the great devourer.... krux used the children of the great devourer as his weapons.... mimik used to worship the great devourer even long after he had lost faith, as a way to stay connected to serpentine culture.... harumi had her family killed and her life destroyed because of the great devourer's attack.... damn.

📜 - do you have a ship name? If so, how did you come up with it?

their ship name is StolenTime since mimik is a thief and krux can control time ^_^ also because "stolen time" is used in the context of star-crossed/forbidden lovers as well as doing things in secret/when you're not supposed to, so it's perfect for them since they were lovers on the opposite sides of a war

🍪 - what’s yours and your f/o(s)’ favourite foods?

mimik loves any kind of meaty "junk" food while krux loves salmon w/ a lemon cream sauce as well as instant mac and cheese (the reason for why is a very long story lol)

🌻Does your self-insert or F/O go through any character development throughout the story?

mimik learns to let ppl in and that its okay to care about others :> well at least for a little bit cuz most of that disappears after him & krux have their classic "gays will have the most devastating break-up without ever officially dating in the first place" scene

🌼Is there an official confession scene between the two of them?

hmmmm its not an explicit confession scene but they swear to stand alongside the other for the rest of their lives and promise to build a life together after the war so. yea 😭😭

🍀 Do You have any other scenes in mind? Angsty, Tender, Funny, Etc.

theres this one scene where the two are in krux's sleeping quarters, casually talking about random things while relaxing on krux's bed, and they do the "comparing hand sizes" thing where they hold their hands together

while theyre still holding their hands together, krux leans in closer to mimik and mimik just goes for it and kisses him <3 thats their first kiss scene :]
