Hiccups

Title: Hiccups

Characters: Gyomei x Reader (mentions of Sanemi as a friend)

Prompt: When he tries to take you home, but you are too drunk to realise who he is. 

Notes: Fluff - Comedy - Romance 

You probably shouldn’t have had the last shot of Jagermeister. 

Scratch that, you should have stopped four shots ago. Now here you were, holding onto the edge of the table for dear life, praying to Satan to put you out of your misery and send you to your maker. Why did your bed have to be soooo far away and why did your little legs seem to no longer be a part of your body. 

“Maybe I can crawl. Ohhhh, that still requires knees,” you mumble to yourself. You question if the bartender has a spare set lying around. 

This was supposed to be a cute little get to together with Mitsuri, Kanae and Shinobu for your monthly girls night. But you went a little harder because you missed your husband Gyomei so much who was away on a mission.

A huff leaves you, but you soon regret the action as everything comes bubbling up and it takes all the strength you can muster to swallow the bile back down. 

Yuck, that was disgusting. 

“I think it’s time for you to go home little one,” a glorious voice says. 

You look up, way up from the comfort of the table’s edge to meet the eyes of a towering man well over seven feet tall. Prayer beads lay over his barely exposed chest and a green and white haori do a poor job of hiding his impressive muscles. 

He looks yummy. 

“Hi,” you dreamily reply, your eyes glazing over at the sight of him. He offers you a smile that makes your panties wet. 

“Come on sweetheart, time to get you to bed,” his strong voice says and he reaches for your shoulders. Oh my, his hands feel like sunshine on a beautiful summer’s day. 

But you have morals, even if Jagermeister wants to nay say it. 

“Thank you darling, but I respectfully have to decline.”

He furrows a brow. “It’s clear that you need a bed sweety.”

You scoff. “Yeah my bed buddy. I’m good. Off you go.” You try to shoo him away but the action makes you trip and if it wasnt for this glorious statue of a man in front of you, you’d fall flat on your face. 

He catches you instantly, his strong summers day hands gripping your shoulders to steady you on your wobbly feet. You gaze up at him and giggle. 

“Wow, you are so pretty,” you breathily giggle. 

*Hiccup*

He chuckles and grabs your bag off the chair. 

“Home, now. Lets go.” 

You push at his chest and in your drunken state you shockingly manage to show some anger. 

“You may be pretty sir, and probably cuddly…..so cuddly,” you begin before you stare at him in awe for a few moments. Then you clear your throat. “But I am a married woman, and an honourable one at that,” you state, showing him the ring on your finger. 

You show him the wrong hand. 

*Hiccup*

The cute bastard has the nerve to laugh at you. 

“I know darling,” he drawls as he pushes a strand of hair behind your ear. You gasp at his feather like touch and then it makes you sad because you miss your husband doing it for you. Sigh, its been two weeks since his mission and you desperately want him to come home. 

“Well, if you know I am married then you know that Gyomei will not be happy with you being in my space. So please pretty sir, leave me be. I can manage on my own.”

You cant, you nearly trip again. But pretty boy catches you again. 

“I’m sure he will understand. Come on baby, I really need to take you back to bed and strip you out of these clothes before you get sick.”

You slap his hands away. 

“No you will not pretty…..soo pretty…..BOY! Get your glorious hands off meh!”

He doesnt let go. You dont know wether to be appalled or relieved. The floor looks pretty far from up here. 

To your relief you see Sanemi, walk up to the bar to order a drink. Thank God, a savior is here. 

“Sanemi, tell this man to unhand me! I told him I am married but he wont stop telling me he is taking me to bed. Pretty wont get into these panties!” You screech and Sanemi looks confused between the two of us.

You blink.

*Hiccup*

“Well?” You scream.

“Well what?” Sanemi says. 

*Hiccup*

“I’M MARRIED!” 

“Yeah, to HIM you idiot!” 

Your eyes widen. 

“Gyomei?” You ask, your eyes watering as you look up at pretty boy. 

Gyomei smiles down at you. 

“Yes baby?” He caresses your cheek. 

“You’re so pretty,” you breathe.

“I know, so you say,” he chuckles.

*Hiccup*

“You are on a mission. You’ve been gone for two weeks,” you pout.

He sighs. “I’ve been home for three days. You came for girls night, you saw me a few hours ago baby,” he coos. 

*Hiccup*

“Hi! So I’m really married to you?” You ask. 

He nods. 

“Ok pretty boy. Take me to my husband.”

*Hiccup*

“You are so fucking stupid when you’re drunk,” Sanemi grumbles as he picks up your coat and follows Gyomei out to drag you home. 

*Hiccup*

“So how do you know Gyomei?” You ask as Gyomei gathers you in his arms to take you home.

At least a whirr had passed as he read the manual time and time again and tried to put out the sparks in the wires without causing an unflashy electricity shortage with what little of it remained already, tired, stressed, half delirious from pain and realizing that his chances of going back to his wives were diminishing by the second, T’ngen went back to the cockpit. He never knew why it was called like that. Time and time again he laughed about it with Kyo’juro. It was a stupid, bad joke that whoever named it decided to make and the stupidity of whoever allowed it to be named like that was an even better one. Those were great times and T’ngen had to choke back a sob, knowing that there was a chance that he would never make fun of it again with his best friend.
