Cassandra’s friend, Trey Vukovic, had some thoughts about her status as a single lady. He rapidly orchestrated the appearance of one Beckett Caruthers, a romantically inclined bartender with a silver tongue.
Beckett had always seen himself as a dog person, and when he found stray pooch Terrell wandering their back garden he made it his mission to open his home to Terrell, just as Cassandra had opened hers to him. While Terrell was a hostile pup, something in Beckett’s nature seemed to calm him, and Beckett soon set about training Terrell.
Cass also had to have her sibling Sarah round to share the good news with them - Sarah couldn’t have been happier for their big sister!
In a desperate effort to make their house a home, Cass and Beckett finally got round to planting some trees in the front garden and putting in a pathway. Inside is still a little bare, but they’re getting there.
Never one to let a little insecurity stand in her way, Cassandra wasted no time in letting Beckett know exactly what she thought of him.
Cassandra Stone finally decided enough was enough, she couldn’t bear to sleep in a single bed any more! As a fully grown adult she needed her own space, so she packed her bags and dramatically moves.... down the road, into her own little yellow house overlooking the windmill.
And, never one to waste time when she had something she wanted, Cassandra made sure that Beckett knew he was welcome to stay and keep her company for as long as he wanted - for as long as it was something she wanted, anyway. It seemed like virtually no time at all before Beckett added his name to the mailbox and moved in.
