Thinking about a backstory and description for my comic idea Stoned. How's this?

A long time ago, the kingdom had in its king's hands numerous powerful rocks known ubiquitously as Stones. These Stones each had unique supernatural abilities. One could allow its user to spit fire. Another could bring back the dead. And yet another could find other Stones. The old king, realizing how catastrophic it would be if all these powers were to be obtained by a single user, entrusted several noble families each with a single stone to be guarded and passed down as an heirloom.

Generations later, an uneasy government is militarizing its soldiers with special forces specializing in stone usage in preparation of war. Soldiers are ransacking the noble families in search of their Stones. The Blackburn family has no choice but to trust their Stone Dowser to their only child, 15-year-old Rhoda, and to have her escape the capital. Rhoda takes it upon herself to find undiscovered Stones in the neutral territories between the soon-to-be warring kingdoms in hopes of preventing war.

That's my working idea. I have ideas for the ending too.
