Decided to use the stones from my basement in the garden! When they added onto our house over a hundred years ago, they broke through the cistern to expand the basement. The cistern is between two stone walls and the bottom is about 14” lower than the basement floor. After breaking through to make a doorway on each side, they put the stones on the bottom of the cistern, piled on dirt, and covered it with wood to make a walkway. (The wood must have been replaced multiple times over the years as wood on dirt = rot). Stone Foundation UK Tour

Stone Foundation, Midlands purveyors of modern soul, are back on the road by popular demand with another epic UK tour! Championed by Paul Weller, Stone Foundation shot to notoriety when he produced and featured on their 2017 album Street Rituals. Formed back in the early 90’s, their first break came when John Bradbury from The Specials saw them play and invited them to join him on the band’s UK tour.
