Haven’t posted anything in a while even though I’ve been making lots of dumb lil doodles so here ya go it’s my uke and I (: Not the best but I like it quite a bit

It was my birthday. 🎈 My husband bought me a uke on the last day before our local guitar center shut down. So far, I can play an incredibly rough You are my Sunshine. I baked my own pineapple upside down cake.

It was a really nice 30th birthday. I can't wait to keep getting more badass.

Meet my new baby. She's a little broken (who isn't) and has such a beautiful soulful sound.

I've been thinking more about George Harrison, and how he would keep extra ukeleles on hand just so friends could play with him when they came over. Even if they had never touched an instrument, it didn't matter. That wasn't the point.

I've been listening to so much music lately that I had to start playing it myself. Even if I'm terrible (which I am), I'll still play it and love it. Hopefully I'll add a little brightness to someone's day when I do.

We're still thinking of names, but so far Esmeralda is the front runner.

My time in france was 5 star last year. A little spoof of a song to help me remember it by
