-- Frankly, bars were never the brunette's thing. She despised the way alcohol burned down the throat, how it made you giddy and not level-headed. Treasuring the clarity of mind-- and health-- Vittoria tended to avoid drinking. However, there were exceptions from time to time, and tonight was one of them. A sigh escaped her lips as she nursed her gin and tonic, already feeling a headache blooming. She tensed visibly as she felt someone plop down into the seat next to her, afraid it would be one of those disgusting drunks looking for a conquest or whatever. But with the influence of the alcohol, she soon relaxed back into her previous stance. "Break-ups suck, don't they?" She mused, turning slightly. Perhaps she would hit herself for striking up a conversation with a total stranger the next day-- but that was a problem for Future Vittoria.
stonem-anthonys bumped into Astrid
Astrid was pushing her little daughter Amelia - Rose along in a pram. She was thinking about Tony again. They kept in contact for a while but then one day she went round to his house and he was gone. She was alone. In the end she gave birth to Amelia - Rose at 6 o'clock in the morning, on the 4th of October. Astrid had taken mother hood quite well. The two girls had there own little pattern, get up in the morning around 8 o'clock then breakfast, then whatever they felt like. Astrid loved Amelia with all her heart. She looked like her dad expect she was slowly starting to grow a mane of ginger hair just like her mother. They were happy. Today the pair had decided to go to the park. So they were wandering along then Astrid saw a boy, he saw her. She sort of knocked him off balance with the pram. She didn't mean too. "Uh- sorry" She said looking at him. He looked fimllair. Then it hit her. "Tony..." She whispered. Her heart stopped for a few seconds. The male just stood there. "I'm just going to go" She mumbled as she began to move the stroller along the road.

The New York Times was a funny old thing to be reading in London and Cecelia only knew one place that sold it. However the shop was in between her usual Starbucks and work so it didn't upset the rhythm of the say all too much. And although the news never related to her own life, New York just seemed more exciting that London most days. The sun had drawn the editor out her office today, into a near by park that had pretty white benches along the side of the path, where she sit with her coffee and her newspaper, undisturbed. Until someone sat next to her. She looked up, smiling politely and look back down, clicking her neck. "Nice day," she commented.
