The guy himself said it.
Do as he says.
what stonesourwolf did was definitely not right. when she was asked to take the photos down, she claimed us to be over dramatic and hypocrits and then had her askbox deactivated so she doesn't have to deal with us. she only closed her blog after the tweet the other day. She wasn't apologetic at all. And now she claims to be getting threats on anon to colethewolf. the least she could do is aplogize on her blog. maybe i'm a pessimist, i feel she is just trying to get sympathies.
I agree that what she did was wrong, and maybe she is trying to get some sympathetic people on her side—I don’t know, really.
But whatever the actual case is, if she’s genuinely sorry, if she doesn’t give a shit, I still don’t think it’s right of people to put others down like a bunch of people have been.
It’s not just the anti-stonesourwolf people either, it’s also the people blaming Tyler for “siccing” his fans on her.
They’re both still human beings with feelings and regardless of their bad decisions/word choices it feels like shit to see things like some people have posted.
I wholly agree that she should go on her blog and apologize—definitely follow colethewolf’s advice on that.
I am just sick of all the hateful things that have been circulating—Tyler asked people to forgive and forget, and there’s just this whole backlash of people still freaking out over it.
Just learn from their mistakes and then stop. Like I said, I’m positive that he doesn’t want people to be threatening stonesourwolf, and also that he didn’t mean to have it escalate that far. I don’t know if he knew the extent of the harassment/ability of people to go and do such things, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t approve—his tweet proves that.
He tweeted "Forget and Forgive" or something. I think it was about him and stonesourwolf...
THANK YOU for telling me that! I totally didn’t know :( (ugh lack of twitter lol)
I just went and looked at it—some of the retweets are fucking wrong. They’re blaming him for things and then some are refuting his wish to forgive and forget and WHY CAN’T PEOPLE JUST FREAKING GO ONE WITH THEIR LIVES.
It’s already escalated way too much, and the people involved are willing to forgive and forget, what business is it of everyone else to try and make it such a big deal?
She’s sorry.
He’s accepted the apology, publicly, asked everyone to forgive and forget.
NOW FOLLOW THEIR WISHES.
Just learn from their mistakes.
I wonder how Tyler feels now that stonesourwolf is getting death threats. Not to be rude, but I think both parties are at fault. It was bad what she did, but his twitter post escalated this problem. I wonder how he feels, knowing that his action caused his fandom to send death threats to another fan. Oh, I'm sorry, she's not a 'true fan', is she? This whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m positive that Tyler isn’t very aware of how much it has escalated. Both parties were definitely at fault and I think that if she apologizes, he should accept her apology—the whole “not a true fan” thing is horrible, I think. I guess during the heat of the moment he lashed back at her but it’s a really mean thing to say and honestly, the fact that she wanted the pictures so badly doesn’t make her a not-true fan. It’s kind of what being a celebrity has to deal with, the whole “I WANT YOUR PICTURES AND BABIES” thing—not that it gave her a right to break his privacy like that.
I just wish there was some way to let Tyler Hoechlin know the extent of the reaction to his comment. He doesn’t seem like a bad person, no one could possibly want someone to receive threats and harassment.
I feel like if Tyler publicly said/tweeted about forgiveness, then the thing might die down a bit more. As part of the “Love is Louder” campaign, I’m certain that he wouldn’t want stonesourwolf to be harassed.
idk. if anyone has a twitter (I don’totherwise I would), maybe @Tyler_Hoechlin about this? Like, ask him to forgive stonesourwolf—and not, as many people are doing, to “forgive the TW fandom” b/c wtf, that shunts stonesourwolf to one side and implies that she’s not a true fan. Up til that one mistake, she’d obviously been a “true fan.”

Hoechlin vs. StoneSourWolf
