so, uh... ryuji’s already spent a huge chunk of his Dust before realizing that the spirale economy isn’t any different from the one back home (not to imply he understands much about economics aside from ‘spending money = less money’, of course). he’s only left himself with some chump change, and that’s putting it lightly.
‘blah blah it’s your own fault, ryuji’ -- yeah, he knows! but he’d kill for some good ramen right about now and these prices aren’t exactly compatible with his bank account. he crumples the restaurant’s takeout menu into a ball rivaling his very own crumpled hopes and dreams.
“what-ever, man. this blows!” he tosses the paper ball over his shoulder, completely oblivious to the fact that its flight path is directly towards an unfortunate guy’s head.
